Enjoying grapefruit concentrate

Mix 35 g concentrate with 250 ml hot or cold water and adjust to taste. Try it as a spread, in yogurt, ice cream, gingerbread, macarons and cakes, or in dressings, sauces and marinades.

Iced black tea with pomegranate: ingredients

500 ml black tea, such as Earl Grey, Darjeeling or Assam; 4–5 tablespoons KOTSAM pomegranate concentrate; 500 ml water, still or sparkling; ice; fresh mint; optional pomegranate seeds and lemon or lime slices.

Preparation

Brew the black tea, let cool, then refrigerate. For a stronger tea flavor, use twice the usual quantity of tea leaves or bags. Mix the pomegranate concentrate with the 500 ml water; if using warm water to dissolve it, cool and chill afterwards. Add sparkling water only when serving. Combine with the chilled black tea in a jug, stir and pour over ice. Garnish with mint, citrus and pomegranate seeds.

Adjust and serve

Add more pomegranate concentrate for sweetness or more black tea for a stronger tea flavor. This recipe deliberately combines black tea with pomegranate; the general serving ideas above use grapefruit. Follow the product label for storage.
